Robert did wonderful work in my home. He replaced my kitchen sink, faucet and disposal. The job was done perfectly. He took the time to show me how to reset the disposer, if ever needed, and showed me where my water main was too. He did the work for one-third the price that I was quoted by a national competitor. We had THE BEST plumber to our home to fix a sink issue we have dealt with for two years since we bought our home.

I have been having issues with my plumbing this week. I had the septic pumped thinking it was that but still having issues. My brother in law recommended this company and said they are great. He was right ! Not only were they respectful, they cleaned up, had patience and kept working until my problem was solved. In addition (which shows me they care ) they educated me on what to do and not do for my specific home. They also knew I was in dire need of their services so they let me know if they had a cancellation which they did and it bumped me up 3 days. Would recommend this company to everyone without a doubt !

After moving into a home and finding all of the problems that the previous owners hid, or just flat out ignored, we needed a plumber to say the least. I called Robert after having a few quotes that were just too overpriced, or I just thought the person or company was just not right for the quality of work I wanted. Robert was very knowledgeable, very attentitive, and just an overall great guy to talk too. I hired Robert for several jobs, and was very pleased with the quality of work he did. It is very hard to find someone that truly takes pride in the quality of work they do, and I can honestly say he does! I would refer Robert to anybody, one of the best plumbers I've come across. On a side note, I also thought his wife who set up the appointments was very friendly as well.

After having two different companies come in and charge big bucks to get our drain open, I reluctantly called a third company. Kauer & Son. In less than 30 minutes they did what two others could not for half the price! Great people and left the space cleaner than when they found it! Love these guys.

Robert and Chris squeezed me in for an appointment on a Tuesday at nearly 5:00 pm. Turns out we needed to rip up part of the mezzanine floor to access the sewer gas leak we were experiencing. They were very committed and determined to finish the job correctly. Stayed till nearly 7:30 pm. THIS COMPANY IS THE BEST!!

Kauer and Son Plumbing was my last hope. It started a week ago when every time you turned on or off the water in any area of the house there was a vibrating/knocking noise. I had 2 plumbers come out from large companies and the first told me my pipes were loose and they would have to cut holes in my ceiling and walls. I was devastated. I called another company for a second opinion, they came out and said basically the same thing but in addition, they would sell me two new parts for 900 dollars that might help but they couldn't guarantee it. At this point we figured that we were going to have to let someone put holes in our walls and ceilings. We decided to try one more plumber and called a local family owned company. Bob was great, he thought it sounded like pipes rubbing too but he didn't give up. He kept trying to figure out if there was something else. It turned out that it was the seal and shower valve cartridge in my upstairs bathroom that was causing the water noise to reverberate through the whole house. I can't thank him enough. For about two hundred dollars, it is completely fixed with no holes in my house. I told all my family and friends about this company. I won't use anyone else again!

We bought our house 7 months ago and recently learned we had a leak in our basement. That leak was coming from a pipe under our family room floor. As painful of an experience this project has been, Bob and Kim have given us peace. Knowing that we hired someone local who believes in family as well as quality work has allowed us to rest in knowing this part of the project was handled with care. In Bob's words, "If I don't do it the right way, I won't be able to go home and eat dinner with my family. I just won't feel right about it". This past weekend, during my six year old's birthday party, my kitchen sink completely clogged. It was a disaster that my husband, father and I tried to fix on our own for two days before we finally gave in and realized we needed a professional's help. I panicked as I had heard rumors on what kind of money plumbers charge and how shady they can be. A family member referred us to Kauer & Sons and they were the ONLY company out of SEVEN that we attempted to call that answered promptly and sent someone out immediately. After two days and lots of hard work, Rob fixed the problem, was kind and professional and charged a more than fair price for his work. You could honestly tell he loves what he does and cares about the customers he services! Thank you SO much Rob!

Had work done by Kauer and Son on 7/5/2016. They installed a new gas supply line for my drier into the laundry room, moved a gas line back by three inches where the stove was (so we could push the stove almost all the way back to the wall instead of having it stick out past the counter by several inches), replaced both boiler valves and lines and installed anti-hammer valves for the washer. They were professional and honest and were not afraid of getting into the crawl space (which isn't very pleasant as I have been in the crawl space several times since recently purchasing my home a month ago). Best of all, they did all of the work for a fair price. If you need plumbing work done, I recommend Kauer and Son.

Called to get a quote to repair our Septic Line - Received a very professional quote next day outlining everything they were going to do. We received three quoted - They were not the cheapest, but presented the best and we hired them. We are so glad we did. After hearing horrible stories with this same issue from neighbors, we experienced none of that! This was by far a seamless repair and they left our lawn and property so neat and clean. We will call for all or our future needs. Hands Down GREAT EXPERIENCE!

I bought a laundry tub pump and tried to install myself. The tub was 30 years old and the threads did not align with the pump to support the weight. I thought I would have to spend a $500 or $600 to install properly . Bob came out and through experience and excellent workmanship solved the problem. A very pleased customer.

Recommended by someone on Facebook, I gave these folks a try when our toilets needed some repairs. Robert showed up in a clearly marked vehicle, was very neat, covered his shoes, gave our dog a treat and got down to business. In less than two hours, he had our toilets running like new, fixed a dripping faucet, checked our Water Heater and Sump Pump. The cost was very affordable and he was thorough.
